Waterford Group Charitable Foundation Donates $1,500 to The Roberto Clemente League, Inc.

Donation Made on Behalf of Connecticut Convention Center Associates

HARTFORD, CT – Wrapping up a good season, many boys and girls will share in the excitement of the Roberto Clemente League’s Award Ceremonies at New Britain Stadium, in part from a donation from the Waterford Group Charitable Foundation.

The players from the Roberto Clemente League will start their day of fun and excitement with a Coach Pitch Trophy Ceremony at 11:00 AM right on the field at New Britain Stadium! Then, they will hold the giant American flag out on the field during the National Anthem, the team will watch the Rock Cats battle the Trenton Thunder, followed by the team getting a chance to run the bases at the stadium after the game! All of these activities are set to take place on Sunday, September 6, 2009 in New Britain, CT.

The donation was made on behalf of the more than 200 associates at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Waterford Group Charitable Foundation is funded in part through voluntary contributions and fundraising efforts by the associates of Waterford Group and its affiliates, including Waterford Venue Services, which manages the Connecticut Convention Center.

A donation of $1500.00 from Waterford Group Charitable Foundation was recently presented to Destin Rodriguez, (a team member of The Roberto Clemente League, Inc.) by associates from the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
