HARTFORD, CT (March 5, 2014) — Six sales managers from the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford were honored with Sales Champion awards during Waterford Hotel Group’s recent Annual Leadership Conference and Awards Celebration, held at the Marriott Hartford Downtown. Julia Miller, Director of Catering; Anissa Ladd, Senior National Sales Manager; Heather Vieira, National Sales Manager; Lisa Cicitto, Corporate Sales Manager; Emily Borders, Catering Sales Manager; and Michael Mulcahy, National Sales Manager were all recognized during a celebratory luncheon at the conference as some of Waterford’s top sales producers for 2013.
The 2-day conference, attended by Waterford Hotel Group representatives and 55 managers from properties in the company’s portfolio, provided attendees the opportunity to share ideas, set goals, and foster the team spirit that are the hallmarks of Waterford’s consistently high performing properties.

The Connecticut Convention Center is owned by the State of Connecticut and is overseen by the Capital Region Development Authority. The center is professionally managed by Waterford Venue Services, an affiliate of Waterford Hotel Group, a leader in the hospitality industry.
