HARTFORD, CT (February 4, 2013) — Waterford Hotel Group awarded the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford with the Food & Beverage Team of the Year award and a Core Value award for sustained success at the company’s recent Annual Leadership Conference and Awards Celebration. The 3-day conference, held at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, was attended by more than 85 managers from Waterford Hotel Group and its managed portfolio. The conference provided attendees the opportunity to celebrate past successes while gaining new resources to excel in the coming year.

The Connecticut Convention Center received the Food & Beverage Team of the Year recognition at an awards ceremony held during the conference to recognize the company’s top performers from 2012. The award was presented to the convention center team for excelling in all areas of food & beverage for the year, including staff excellence and outstanding customer service. The convention center also received a Core Value award at a celebratory luncheon during the conference, for their continued success throughout all departments in 2012.
