Power of the Purse is our region’s premier women’s empowerment event! For more than 15 years, United Way Women United’s Power of the Purse has been a valuable opportunity for women and allies to expand their professional networks while giving back to their communities. Attendees ensure that our neighbors receive job training, financial education, and savings opportunities. Power of the Purse is best known for its fun and dynamic silent auction featuring fabulous purses, experiences, and more; and, its impactful and inspirational program that for its fun and dynamic silent auction featuring fabulous purses, experiences, and more; and, its impactful and inspirational program that leaves the audience bonded by powerful shared philanthropy. The funds raised at this event close gaps and create opportunities that help local women and families achieve financial security. Together, we are United to End Poverty.
