The health and well-being of our associates, clients, and guests is our primary focus, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely. As we learn more about COVID-19, we will to continue to update this page to share additional resources as they become available.
The Connecticut Convention Center has taken the following measures:
- Re-educating our current staff on health and safety measures that prevent the spreading of viruses and other respiratory illnesses.
- Our environmental staff is being extra vigilant with the cleaning and disinfection of all areas, with special focus on public spaces, including entrances, lobbies, restrooms, escalators, elevators, and stairs. The Connecticut Convention Center uses both Virex II 256 and Virex Plus cleaning solutions, both of which provide broad-spectrum disinfection and are effective in eliminating COVID-19 and other pathogens.
- Increasing the number of hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility.
- Ensuring that our hand sanitizers fall within the FDA recommendations for the greatest germicidal efficacy 70% ethanol.
