HARTFORD, CT (July 10, 2012) — ConnectiCon is celebrating its 10th anniversary and 8th consecutive year at the Connecticut Convention Center on Friday, July 13th through Sunday, July 15th. ConnectiCon is a membership-based organization and is New England’s only massively, multi-genre pop culture convention. This year’s special guest is Jim Cummings, who will be appearing at the convention on Friday and Saturday, and who has done dozens of voices over the past 35 years. Some of Cummings’ more popular roles include Darkwing Duck, Taz, Monterrey Jack, Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger (too)!
The convention also features web comics, anime, console games, board games, table top miniatures, science fiction, fantasy, comic books, role-playing games, live action role-playing, collectible card games, and horror. ConnectiCon is expecting upwards of 10,000 members to attend the convention this year. Memberships will be available at the door. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and express their passions for the world of anime! The Connecticut Convention Center is happy to welcome ConnectiCon back for its 8th consecutive year!
