SUMMARY:Great Girl Scout Round Up!
DESCRIPTION:Be an expert in financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills\, led by and for girls! \nParticipate in six activity stations\, working on entrepreneurship skills; visit over 30 vendors who have activities around financial literacy and business skills; stop in at GSOFCT booths for info and activities; and spend time in the Activity Zone with the Girl Scout Experience and Outdoor Program teams trying activities\, making SWAPS\, and learning about all that Girl Scouts offers in programs all year round. \nFrom our Main Stage in the hall\, there will be Girl Scout songs\, a welcome from Miss Teen CT\, and other speakers and activities that contribute to overall well-being of business entrepreneurs. \nThere will also be optional workshops – girls who pre-registered for the event will get an email in December inviting them to sign up for optional workshops they are interested in attending. These 30-45 minute workshops cover all sorts of topics\, from hula hooping fun to time to mental wellness and more. \nNew to Girl Scouts and have questions? The volunteer lounge is a great place to connect with staff and ask questions\, or meet other current Girl Scout volunteers. \nFor current Girl Scout volunteers\, we also have workshops and a volunteer lounge where you can connect with our membership teams\, ask questions\, learn more about the VTK or other platforms\, or just relax for a minute. The council shop will have a space set up in case you need to pick up Girl Scout items\, or ask questions from them as well. \nRegistration Information: \nOpen to all girls in grades K-12 with an adult chaperone.
