SUMMARY:2022 Connecticut Library Association Annual Conference
DESCRIPTION:Great Scott! It’s been quite a year. We have all had to make major adjustments not only in our daily lives but in how we work. Libraries are no exception. We had to stop our goal of bringing patrons to the library and learn how to bring the library to our patrons. We have excelled at making programming virtual and entertaining\, while also maintaining social distance in person. Now\, we are looking at ways to get back to the future of libraries! \nFeaturing an exciting line-up of keynote speakers\, plus two full days of workshops and speakers\, and plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues and exhibitors. Our after-hours events will feature a cocktail hour and a 9-hole mini-golf fundraiser. \nBreakfast\, coffee/snack breaks\, and a hot buffet lunch are included in the registration rate. DESCRIPTION:After a long year of physical distancing and cancelled events\, we are delighted to invite you to be a part of Connecticut Children’s 2022 Hybrid Gala. \nDon your Scottish Highlands best and join us for a celebration of bravery and fortitude at the Hybrid Gala. As the healthcare heroes at Connecticut Children’s emerge from a year of serving on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic\, it is appropriate the theme for this year’s Gala is inspired by the Pixar movie Brave. \nWith respect to ongoing public health precautions\, the Gala has been reimagined to deliver memorable experiences for both in-person and virtual audiences. It includes an intimate VIP dinner experience at the Connecticut Convention Center\, which we are able to offer to a limited number of supporters.
