Demographics

EXCELLENT DEMOGRAPHICS & ACCESSIBILITY

No matter what your event planning needs may entail, the demographics of Hartford, Connecticut’s Capital City, will allow you to virtually guarantee attendance, if not increase it significantly.

Population

More than 23 million people live within a two and a half-hour drive from Hartford. No where in the United States are you closer to as many people, except for Manhattan where an additional 1 million people reside within the same driving radius. But no matter where your attendees come from they'll find getting to the Connecticut Convention Center convenient and hassle-free.

Drive

By car, Hartford is ideally located where Interstates 84 and 91 intersect, at the gateway to New England. Just 30 minutes north and south of Hartford, the Interstate system connects you to the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) and the New York Thruway (Interstate 95).

If you're flying, the newly expanded Bradley International Airport is only 10 minutes from Hartford and serves 19 commercial carriers and nearly 300 national and international flights daily, including direct flights to Los Angeles, Denver and Amsterdam.

Train

Amtrak train service and non-stop, interstate bus lines to every major northeast city operate in and out of Union Station in downtown Hartford.
