CONNECTICUT CONVENTION CENTER TEAM OF ASSOCIATES NAMED “TEAM OF THE YEAR” BY WATERFORD HOTEL GROUP HARTFORD, CT

(February 28, 2007) --- Recognizing the contributions of its top performing properties in 2006, Waterford Hotel Group and its affiliates named the associates of the Connecticut Convention Center as its 2006 Team of the Year during the company’s recent Leadership Conference. The Connecticut Convention Center is professionally managed by Waterford Venue Services Hartford, an affiliate of Waterford Hotel Group. Waterford Hotel Group held its 17th Annual Leadership Conference at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, where more than 80 managers, representing the 27 properties operated by Waterford nationwide, gathered for the conference. The two-day event is a way for the company’s leadership to share ideas, set goals, and foster team spirit throughout the organization. During an Awards Ceremony held at the adjacent Connecticut Convention Center, Waterford recognized their best performing properties from the past year.
