Janel Opeka Appointed As Event Manager

HARTFORD, CT (April 24, 2012) — Janel Opeka has been appointed to the position of Event Manager at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, which is managed by Waterford Venue Services.  Janel has an ideal background in Production and Hospitality with over five years of event planning experience.

As Event Manager, Janel will be responsible for working with clients to provide professional client services support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility, monitoring the logistics of these events and all event related tasks after events are concluded.  Janel will work under the direction of the Director of Events in her new role.
