DESCRIPTION

The annual Promise Ball hosted by JDRF's North Central CT and Western MA Chapter has become the area's premier charitable gala. Its outstanding fundraising results are attributed to the Foundation's many friends and supporters. In 2007 and 2008, the Promise Ball broke Greater Hartford records for events of this type by raising more than $1 million each year for diabetes research. The continued commitment to JDRF's mission was evident when three quarters of a million dollars was raised in 2009, an impressive total at the peak of the economic downturn.
