On Thursday, Feb. 19, Gov. M. Jodi Rell cut a Garland of Mini-Carnations, Daisies, Roses and other flowers (instead of a traditional ribbon) to open the 2009 Connecticut Flower and Garden Show at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The garland was created by Bob Kelly Florists of Hartford. The show runs through Sunday, Feb. 22.

Show Hours:
Friday, February 20 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, February 21 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday, February 22 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission:
$14 Adults
Seniors $12 on Thursday/Friday only
$2 Children 7-14
Free for children age 6 and under
