CONNECTICUT CONVENTION CENTER TAKES CONVENTION AND CONFERENCE PLANNERS OUT TO THE BALL GAME

HARTFORD, CT (September 19, 2013) – Last night, the Connecticut Convention Center hosted a sold-out suite at the Nationals vs. Braves game at Nationals Park in Washington, DC.

National Sales Managers with the Connecticut Convention Center, Heather Vieira and Michael Mulcahy, showed how Hartford has it, networking with 17 convention planners and guests in a fun and relaxed setting, while taking in a great game as the Nationals make a run for the playoffs. Attending planners included: LaKeesha Wilson, American Association of Blacks in Energy; Adam Martin, American Public Transportation Association; Amy Gorman, United States Council of Mayors; Antoinette Dixon, American Staffing Association; Susan Cairnes, Management Solutions Plus; Marci Glavin, HelmsBriscoe; Lori Kolker, Elle K Associates; Alyssa Murphy, Windrose Media; Brian Peterkin, Vertanesian-BoardSource.

In addition to the game, Vieira and Mulcahy are making sales calls in the DC area with clients looking to host their next conference in Hartford at the state-owned facility.
